Was Justice Achieved in the Chauvin Verdict?

Answer – It depends on what you consider to be justice.

In fact, if one was to simply listen to Nancy Pelosi, one would have to conclude that Floyd’s death was strictly voluntary.

How could I say such an inflammatory thing? Easily, for this is what Nancy said.
“Thank you, George Floyd, for sacrificing your life for justice.”

Now Nancy – When you sacrifice yourself for something or someone, you do so consciously and willingly. It’s a choice.

Being murdered, whatever the “degree,” is decidedly NOT a choice. Well maybe it is in the movies. You know – the good guy, or hero, gets captured. And right before his miraculous escape, the evil villain asks him, “How would like to die?”

Other than that, murder is, at least for the victim, a pretty involuntary act.

And I’m going to go way out on a limb and say that George didn’t volunteer his life for any cause, I mean, other than maybe studying the affects of massive amounts of fentanyl in ones system. My guess is that old George did “voluntarily” take the drugs, but I digress.

Back to the verdict, or the fallout from it.

I guarantee that the left did not want this verdict. They, the radical Antifa/BLM, professional rioter crowd, wanted at least one not guilty verdict. Now what do they do?

Rumble:

They were all set to riot, pillage, loot, destroy and burn buildings to the ground. Now they have to figure out another way to justify all that destruction.

To the rescue – enter the leftist federal Justice Department headed by wanted-to-be supreme Court justice Merrick Garland, to stir up the hornet’s nest.

Rather than stay out of it and merely chalk this case up to a single officer incident, it must be a something more sinister – dare I say, “systemic.” So Merrick, under the direct supervision of the race hustling Obama people behind the curtain, has decided that there simply must be more than just one “rogue” copper.

“I know such wounds have deep roots,” Garland said. “And that too many communities have experienced those wounds, firsthand. Yesterday’s verdict in the state criminal trial does not address, potentially systemic policing issues in Minneapolis.”

And there you have it, tantamount to marching orders for leftist radicals.

YouTube:

The left does not wish to put this incident behind them – to come together – to unify.

Want proof? Here’s just one example that Ami Horowitz brought to us via a street interview with a couple of BLM “protesters,” just prior to the verdict.

Horowitz asked respondents if they thought the city would burn down. “Yes, absolutely. And that’d be the least of our problems,” a young woman said. “I’m all for burning it down. There shouldn’t even be a trial. He should be convicted just as is,” another said.

“Burn the whole city down! What does it matter?” one protester said. “I say burn the city down, y’ know? So they can see that we’re here. Continue the movement,” another responded.

Yes, they must “burn the city down” to “continue the movement.” Sounds reasonable.

If anyone in this country is naïve enough to think because Chauvin was found guilty, this “racial strife” is behind us and we can now try to “unify,” you have another thing coming.
